LEVERevolution series bullet using FTX projectile. It is mainly used in guns with tubular magazine (e.g. Marlin rifles)
Hornady's development of these projectiles made it possible to use cartridges with modern projectile design in guns where the primer is supported by the tip of another projectile. The FTX has a flexible polymer tip that prevents the bullet placed in the tubular magazine in front of it from being fired. Previously, this was only possible with common semi-flat tipped cartridges.
