    The massive MIG-MAG flint (9.5×80 mm) is one of the largest in Europe and offers up to 40% more material than conventional versions. It produces sparks up to 3000 °C for reliable fire ignition in all conditions. Durable stainless steel (56-58 HRC) double-edged tinder ensures high efficiency and a long service life of up to approx. 3000 uses.

     

    A few facts - it is probably the largest flint currently produced in Europe. Why?

    That's why:

    Size matters - 9.5 × 80 mm - the thickest and longest rod on the market! Allows you to create sparks from a larger area with any tool. The working length of the rod is 72 mm when inserted in the handle.

    Compared to the 8mm rod, the 9.5mm version has 40% more material for cutting!

    The spark temperature reaches up to 3000 °C - there are weaker flints (~1800 °C) which are cheaper but produce fewer sparks and lose temperature faster.

    Made in Poland.

    Sharpshooter (striker) - most cheap chairs have a metal thumb stud (~45 HRC). Ours is stainless steel hardened to 56-58 HRC and has two sharp edges.

    Why MIG-MAG? Because combined with the sharpie, it throws sparks like crazy.
