Vector Optics Frenzy SCRD-82 is a modern open collimator designed for everyday carry, defensive shooting, duty use and dynamic disciplines. It combines a large field of view, light weight, high durability and long battery life. Its design makes it suitable for both Optics Ready pistols and PCC carbines or shotguns.

Large 20 × 24 mm window for fast aiming

One of the main advantages of the SCRD-82 is the large viewing window of 20 × 24 mm. It provides a wide field of view and allows fast red spot finding even during dynamic transitions between targets.

The wide window brings:

• faster target acquisition,
• better peripheral vision,
• more comfortable shooting with both eyes,
• easier transitions between targets.

Multi-layer anti-reflective layers ensure high light transmission, sharp images and minimal distortion.

Exact 3 MOA point

The collimator uses a 3 MOA red dot, which represents an ideal compromise between speed and accuracy.

3 MOA point allows:

• accurate shooting at longer ranges,
• quick aiming when defensive shooting,
• comfortable to use during sport shooting,
• universal fitting on pistols and PCC carbines.

Parallax is virtually eliminated, so the point remains stable regardless of the position of the eye.

The body of the collimator is made of 7075-T6 aerospace aluminum, which is used in the aerospace and weapons industry. This material provides exceptional strength while maintaining light weight.

Shake Awake - the collimator is always ready

The built-in motion sensor automatically activates the collimator when handling the weapon. If the weapon is stationary for a longer period of time, the collimator enters power saving mode.

Up to 50,000 hours of operation

Power is provided by a commercially available CR1632 battery. Thanks to modern electronics, the collimator offers up to 50,000 hours of operation.

The side mounting of the battery allows its replacement without removing the collimator from the weapon. It is therefore not necessary to reload the weapon.

Ready for night vision

The collimator has:

• 9 brightness levels for daily use,
• 2 levels compatible with night vision.

The brightness can be easily adjusted to the current lighting conditions.
