TB Outdoor C.A.C. Army Knife PA6 FV - Army Green is a modern operating knife developed according to strict requirementsof the French army. It represents a concentrate of current technology, high durability and practical features expected from a real field knife.

ModelC.A.C.® (Combat Assistance Campagne) is alreadythird generation army knifedesigned and manufactured by Tarrerias-Bonjean for the French armed forces. He was involved in its developmentPhilippe Perotti, a former member of the French Special Forces, which is evident in every detail of the design. The result is a lightweight, robust and highly functional knife designed for deployment in the field.

The knife meets a specific military requirement: it is atwo-handed field knifewhich can beopen and close safely with one hand. This is taken care of by a reliableaXIS® lock, allowing fully two-way control. Ergonomic handle made of durable materialPA6 with chevron pattern ensures a secure grip even with gloves or in wet conditions.

This variant is also equipped withstrap cutter acorkscrew, thus expanding the use of the knife in the field, in survival and everyday use. Stainless steel bladeNitrox offers very good corrosion resistance, easy maintenance and balanced properties for work deployment.

The knife is suppliedwithout case, in a protective box with foam padding.

The story of the C.A.C.® knife

KnifeC.A.C.® (Combat Assistance Campagne) was in the year2016 officially selected by the French Army among a number of competing solutions thanks to its robustness, functionality, superior workmanship and optimal price/performance ratio. Since2018 is widely deployed in the armed forces and serves in demanding operational conditions on a daily basis.

Development in cooperation with professionals

The company is involved in the development of the knifeTB Outdoor participated together withPhilippe Perottia former member of the French Special Forces and a renowned close combat instructor. His practical experience has enabled him to optimize the ergonomics, maneuverability and overall effectiveness of the knife in real deployment, making the C.A.C.® a reliable tool for all types of operations.

Nitrox® steel blade

The blade is made of stainless steelNitrox®which contains approximately16 % chromium and 0,35 % carbon a jedoped with nitrogenwhich partially replaces carbon. This offers an extraordinarycorrosion resistance, very goodtoughness, easy grinding and high cutting capacity. The durability of the blade is further enhanced byPVD coated. The development of this steel was carried out in cooperation with TB Outdoor engineers directly at the production plant.

AXIS® safe lock

The knife is equipped with a robust locking mechanismAXIS®which ensures reliable locking of the blade in the open position. This system allowsone-handed operation and is fullydouble sidedsuitable for right and left-handed users.

Design and variability

The handle consists of two screwed shanks, between which is integratedstrap cutter with interchangeable curved blade for quick cutting of belts, ropes or seat belts. The knife is offered in two blade variants:

• PA6 (glass reinforced polymer) - excellent resistance to impact and deformation

• G10 - composite with high dimensional stability and resistance to moisture, heat and chemicals

There is alsofluorescent yellow variantwhich reacts intensively to UV light and makes it easier to find the knife in the dark or in difficult terrain.

Adjustable blade travel

C.A.C.® enablesfine adjustment of blade stiffness according to the user's personal preferences. The clamping force can be easily adjusted with the axial screw, which increases both comfort and safety during use.
