    Missile InterLock..


    Interlock - A bullet of classic construction with an exposed tip (half-sheath) where the lead core protrudes. There is acontrolled expansion even at lower speeds. Hornady was the first company to use ogive curvature of the upper part of the projectile instead of tangential (as is usual for most manufacturers). This is again due to the better ballistic coefficient, which generally allows Hornady projectiles to have a givenammunition better ballistic curve and allow accurate shooting even at longer distances.
