The stock is used for more accurate shooting due to the weapon being locked on the shoulder.
The Crosman 1377 is classically sold as a pistol, after simply unscrewing the handguards, this extended handguard is inserted and tightened with the original screws that held the original handguards. After that, the sight can still be rotated on the diopter.
