The Rohm RG 3 starter pistol is a replacement for the IWG Record 1 or Slavia Start 1 models.

Why is this expansion gas gun referred to as a starter gun? It is because of its primary use, which is starting races, training dogs and other similar activities in which it can be used.

The Rohm RG3 pistol is equipped with a magazine with a capacity of 6 shots for 6 mm Flobert Blanc ammunition. The older designation of this ammunition may be 6mm START short.

On the pistol you will find a firing mode switch that can be moved between 3 positions. In the S position the pistol is locked. In position E, only the magazine is moved when the trigger is pulled. The pistol does not fire. Use this to remove the magazine when you want to refill the magazine with ammunition but do not want to fire the remaining rounds. In the F position, the pistol will fire when the trigger is pulled, shifting the magazine one position and preparing the next round to be fired.
