Design and function

The knife is equipped with a "swing" mechanism - with a simple button at the blade lock it is possible to switch from one blade to another. The steel used for the blades is Japanese Aichi AUS-8 stainless steel, which is subzero cooled and hand finished for a sharp and durable cut. Hardness reaches Rockwell C ~57-58.

The handle is made of a rubber thermoplastic rubber TPR material (sometimes called Kraton® in older versions), which ensures a good grip even in wet conditions and reduces hand fatigue during prolonged use.
