This knife is one of the most robust knives Mora has to offer.
It is designed especially for the more demandingoutdoor activities, survival in nature, and as a hunting knife.The knife is adapted to the needs for survival in the wilderness - making a fire, tracking, hunting and fishing or building shelter.
Quality materials are used in the production process, giving the knife its durability.The blade is made of carbon steel hardened to a hardness of HRC 59-60, thanks to which the knife keeps its sharpness longer.Blade corrosion protection provides a black coating.The upper part of the blade is specially sharpened and can be used together with a magnesium fire starter to start a fire. The massive mandrel provides maximum impact resistance. The handle is ergonomically shaped and additionally coated with a layer of soft grip rubber to prevent slipping. The knife is fitted with a 3.5 cm long anti-slip hand guard.
The knife comes with a practical plastic sheath.The durable case is in black. For more comfortable knife removal, the sheath has a thumb rest. Easy to wash offit also has a hole in the tip to facilitate the drainage of water or other liquids. In addition, the sheath has a handle for attaching the choke for quick sharpening anddiamond sharpener. It has a belt clip that can be replaced with a plastic clip.
Magnesium lighter is a reliable means of starting a fire in all weather conditions, it is waterproof, can be used in wet, cold and snow. Use a brush to remove the surface coating from the fire starter. The top edge of the blade is used as a sharpener. In a smooth, rapid motion, the sharpener is passed along the entire length of the stick over the kindling cuttings. The resulting sparks easily ignite pre-prepared tinder such as dry needles, leaves or dry grass. The lighter has a lifespan of 7000 pinches and a spark temperature of 3000°C. Due to the strong spark, the light of the incendiary can be used as a distress signal.
