The Nitecore NU43 is a new high performance head torch with a light output of 1,400 lm (3,800 cd) and a range of 130 metres.

Its main advantages are the high battery capacity (3 400mAh), 2 types of light (white LED and red LED) while maintaining a low weight of 116 g and the ability to lock the control buttons of the flashlight. The wide light cone at 100° angle without a gaping centre point will preserve your peripheral vision and the headlamp will not unnecessarily dazzle you at close range.

The Nitecore NU43 is powered by an integrated 3,400 mAh Li-ion battery using the USB-C charging port. This is hidden under the rotating lid. The headlamp charges to full battery capacity from 0 to 100% in just 2 hours. You can find out what condition the battery is in using the integrated battery charge indicator. The headlamp can therefore be conveniently recharged both from the 230V mains and in the car thanks to the 12V charger, but also via a power bank when you are travelling far from civilization.

The headlamp electronics allow the user to choose between five basic light output levels of the white LED (turbo, high, medium, low and ultra-low), two modes of the red LED (steady light and slow blink).

The headlamp is fitted with a comfortable wide strap that is perforated - it wicks away sweat well, has non-penetrating reflective elements on it, and also has a silicone strap on the inside of the strap to securely position it on your head.

To make the head torch safe, it is equipped with a built-in optical sensor that detects an obstacle in front of you and thus reduces the power. Another protective feature is the ability to lock the control buttons.
