MeoLux - The latest MeoLux layer is developed for even better light transmission and reduction of unwanted glare. All optical elements of the MeoStar R2 series riflescopes are equipped with the anti-reflective MeoLux coating, which provides up to 93-95% light transmission on the entire riflescope (99.8% on a single optical element). Thanks to this new generation of optical coatings, MeoStar R2 riflescopes boast truly world-class light transmission. In terms of twilight performance, MeoStar R2 riflescopes are at the very edge of today's technological capabilities. The new special anti-reflective MeoLux layers virtually allow active observation and hunting up to twilight or on a clear night.

MeoDrop - Special hydrophobic coatings remove water, dust and grease from the surface of the optical components, helping to maintain a clean, brilliant image. They are based on the lotus effect principle; a specific microscopic layer causes unwanted dust or water particles to gather into droplets that simply slide off the lens surface. The MeoDrop coated lenses are easy to clean and streak-free.MeoShield - Silicon layer applied with ions protects the outer surfaces of the lenses from scratches and abrasion, even in field conditions.
