The Stinger 9 carbine is a new generation of PCC (Pistol Caliber Carbine) designed by Ján Lučanský. His previous projects include the Laugo Arms Alien pistol or the CZ Scorpion EVO 3 carbine.The similarity with the latter weapon is therefore not accidental and Lučanský has used his experience and knowledge from previous projects and transformed them into the ultimate PCC platform that combines elements from the Scorpion with the ergonomics of the AR15.

Patented Delayed Matter Technology with tungsten counterweight significantly reduces recoil. An anodized aluminum alloy upper complements the polymer lower frame with an AR15 compliant pistol grip. Any commercially available stock can be mounted to the Picatinny rail in the rear. The kit includes a telescoping folding stock of Lucansky Arms' own design.

The cold forged barrel has a 1:10 bore pitch and is finished with a Tri-Lug quick release interface and 1/2x28 thread. Available in 4" (102 mm), 8" (203 mm) and 16" (406 mm) lengths. The barrel is covered by an aluminum forearm with M-LOK slots for attaching tactical accessories. A Picatinny rail with folding sights extends across the top of the frame. The weapon can be fitted with an optic if required.

The huge advantages of this platform include modular design and a wide range of user customization options. The weapon has two cocking levers, one at the front, like the Scorpion, and one at the rear, like the AR15. You can therefore choose which cocking system suits you better and possibly uninstall one of the levers. However, when dealing with dynamic situations, it is advantageous to have two cocking options. The same is true for magazine release, so you have a choice of a conventional lever and a double-sided button a la AR15.

All controls are fully ambidextrous, so left- and right-handed shooters will find it easy to use. The Stinger 9 is compatible with CZ Scorpion EVO3 magazines and Lucansky Arms provides data for potential aftermarket parts.
