The Merino wool used is premium (super fine) wool from specially bred Australian sheep.
Thanks to its 16 micrometer fibre diameter, Merino wool thermal underwear not only insulates warmth perfectly, it is also more breathable and softer to the touch than synthetic materials. The natural properties of Merino wool give the thermal underwear resistance to bacteria and therefore Merino underwear does not smell even after prolonged wear.
Woolsens light
The knitted fabric made of Merino wool weighs 160g per square metre and is typically smooth and fine. It is suitable as a base layer for thermal underwear or as the only layer in the summer. It can be used in all sports, including winter and water sports.
