Kestrel Berry Compliant mount with wind vane for the 5xxx series and above, in a MOLLE pouch

 is a professional kit comprising a swivel wind vane mount and a tactical MOLLE pouch, designed for Kestrel Series 5 weather stations. It enables you to convert a Kestrel handheld measuring device into a fully-fledged automatic weather station capable of continuously measuring wind speed and direction, as well as other climatic parameters.

The precision-engineered mount allows the instrument to be attached to a tripod with a 1/4"-20 thread. Thanks to the rotating wind vane, the instrument automatically turns into the wind, ensuring accurate and continuous measurements in the field. The design offers greater strength, easier assembly and a more secure mounting of the instrument compared to older generations of mounts.

The pack includes a premium tactical pouch compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system. The holster is made from durable 500D Cordura® fabric with Kevlar® reinforcement, providing high tear resistance and reliable protection for the device during transport. The product meets Berry Compliance requirements, the standard used for US military contracts.

When used with Kestrel models featuring LiNK technology, the measured data can be monitored wirelessly via a mobile app from a distance of up to tens of metres.
