By unscrewing the end cap of the above mentioned flashlights and screwing this cable you get a flashlight with remote control from a handheld flashlight. Simply pressing the end of the cable will light it up. When the press is released, the light goes off. The end cap has a smaller back cap that allows the cord to be threaded through the 1'' assembly.
