The HIKMICRO T16 photo trap is equipped with a dual optical system with a selectable field of view of 60° or 100°, which can be switched directly in the HIKMICRO Sight app at any time. The narrower 60° angle is suitable for narrow forest paths and tracking specific points, while the wider 100° angle covers meadows, feeding grounds and open areas without blind spots. Native 6 megapixel photos, UHD images up to 24 megapixels on demand and Full HD 1080p video including audio deliver sharp images day and night.

At night, the photo trap operates with invisible 940 nm IR illumination (2× LED) and SmartIR technology, which automatically adjusts the illumination intensity according to the ambient brightness - resulting in sharp black and white images without overexposure and without disturbing game.

The sensitive PIR sensor detects game movement and triggers sensing in just 0.4 seconds at a detection distance of up to 25 m. Advanced settings in the app - PIR sensitivity in three levels, work schedules, minimum interval between triggers, daily upload limit to the cloud and GPS device location - allow you to optimize operation to your own needs and save data and battery.

The integrated 4G SIM card HIKMICRO works in the Czech Republic and SK immediately after switching on, no need to subscribe. View your photos and videos via the HIKMICRO Sight app, or use the built-in 64GB memory to download content directly to your computer via USB-C cable. If activated by 31 December 2026, you get 600 FREE photos in the app without expiry.

Its robust IP66-rated construction and operating temperature range of -20 °C to +55 °C make the T16 suitable for year-round operation in harsh conditions. Powered by 4× 18650 Li-ion batteries (not included); for long-term installations, an external 12 V DC / 1 A power supply or a solar panel can be used. The trail camera is mounted using the supplied strap on a tree or on a tripod with a 1/4”-20-UNC thread.

Hikmicro Sight data tariffs

The photo trap has an integrated HIKMICRO SIM card - no need to subscribe.Only remote downloading of photos and videos via the HIKMICRO Sight app is charged. Three subscription plans are available, all with 720p streaming:

• Tariff Basic - 200 photos per month - Cloud storage for 3 months - Monthly €2,99, or annually €32,28 (approx. 75 CZK / 800 CZK)
• Advance tariff - 500 photos per month - Cloud storage for 6 months - Monthly €4.99, or annually €45.48 (approx. 120 CZK / 1100 CZK)
• Tariff Professional - Unlimited photos - Cloud storage for 12 months - Monthly €11.99, or annually €107.88 (approx. 290 CZK / 2600 CZK)
• Credits - 100 photos without expiry date - €1.49 (approx. 35 CZK)
• HD package - Remote download of higher resolution photos - €3.99 (approx. 100 CZK)

Additional information on tafirs:

• The photo trap can be used without a tariff and the photos/videos can be viewed by connecting a phone via Wi-Fi (works up to 15 m) or by connecting via USB-C to a computer.
• Cloud storage is storage that stores photos remotely - multiple members of a family or hunting club can view photos at the same time. Photos can be downloaded and viewed after X months, but will only be available to users who have downloaded the photos to their phone or computer. And the photos will remain stored in the photo tray (unless you delete them or run out of storage space).
• If purchased and activated by 31 December 2026, you will get 600 photos FREE with no expiry date.
• When the monthly limit is exhausted, a recharge package can be purchased in the appCredits (100 photos for €1.49, no expiry date) - photos from the package are automatically taken after the main plan is used up. For example, if you run out of photos according to your tariff 3 days before the renewal, you can buy extra photos. If you don't use up all the extra photos within 3 days, they will remain with you.And the next time you run out of photos from the basic package again, you will use the ones you have purchased in the past (or you can buy more).
• For downloading higher resolution photos, there is a separateHD package (50 photos for €3,99).
• If you manage multiple T16 cameras under the same user account, you can get a 5-20% discount on the tariff. You need to purchase a separate plan for each camera trap. If you buy a tariff for multiple cameras you will get up to 20% discount on the tariffs (depending on the number of cameras).We assume that the discount for 2 photo traps will be 5% and for 5+ photo traps 20%.
• The photo trap can only be registered to one account/phone. This person will manage it, set it up and pay the subscription fee. It can then be shared with an unlimited number of other users (family members, friends, association members, ...).
