Reversible leather wrap on ergonomic cutting board. Designed for beginners and professionals. Ergonomic handle allows for more comfortable work when putting the blade down.
Leather or soft wood (e.g. balsa) is used after sharpening the blades of knives, scissors, razors, carving tools, joinery tools, etc.  as the last operation to remove fine burrs and to polish the blade. The fine burrs are created after grinding and need to be removed in order for the cut of the sharpened tool to be clean, fine and smooth. This is exactly what the fine leather dressing helps us to do by polishing the blade to a high shine. Our double-sided stropping board can also be used by applying a fine abrasive (polishing) paste to the leather on one side, resulting in a highly polished, almost mirror-like blade. The important thing is to dress the blade, back to back, never the other way around, as this can damage or cut through the dressing leather.
