Product detailed description

How to take care of the knife and what not to do with it ...

  • Never wash the knife in the dishwasher. To maintain sharpness, hand wash and dry the knife immediately.
  • Do not use the knife to cut hard and frozen foods. The blade may break or break off part of the blade.
  • Do not use the knife as a crowbar and avoid bending it.
  • Protect the knife from falling or bumping.
  • It is advisable to coat the knife with oil after use. If you know that you will not be using the knife for a long time, it is better to oil the knife and wrap it in a cloth or newspaper. The oil from the ink used on the newspaper printing will protect the blade from possible corrosion.

Particles attached to the blade surface from aggressive substances can begin to corrode and form rust-like scratches on the surface of the blade. However, it is not the blade that rusts, it is the particles that are attached. Commonly used to remove these are, for example, baking soda, which forms a "slurry" when soaked, and old cork.
Store the knife in a safe place and keep it away from children (e.g. on a magnetic stand)

To keep it sharp...

  • For daily blade removal, use a sharpener.
  • We recommend using diamond and water grinding stones.
