Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 PRO, 18", semi-automatic rifle, .223 Rem

The DDM4 V7 PRO is designed to satisfy even the most demanding users. An 18" cold-forged barrel, premium accessories, a Geissle trigger, and excellent handling and accuracy. This platform will meet the requirements not only of sport shooters.

The V7 PRO comes as standard with the MFR 15.0 M-LOK handguard, which offers significant weight savings, excellent cooling, ergonomics and high modularity, whilst maintaining the strength and durability expected from the Daniel Defense brand. The full-length Picatinny top rail, together with the M-LOK mounting slots, offers ample space for fitting optics and other accessories. It also allows for maximum sight radius for accurate shooting with mechanical sights.

The Muzzle Climb Mitigator diverts combustion gases through precisely calibrated holes, thereby effectively reducing both recoil and muzzle rise. The Geissele Automatics Super Dynamic 3-Gun trigger enables rapid firing thanks to its low resistance, short travel and very fast reset. Combined with the smoother recoil profile provided by the full-length gas system, this enables shorter intervals between shots, more accurate follow-up shots and reduced shooter fatigue.

The GRIP-N-RIP double-sided cocking lever is suitable for both right- and left-handed users. The rifle is also fitted with an ergonomic stock and a Daniel Defense pistol grip.

MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION

LOWER RECEIVER:
Mil-Spec version with an extended magazine well and a rear mounting point for a quick-detach (QD) sling. CNC-machined 7075-T6 aluminium, hard-anodised to Type III standard.

UPPER RECESSOR CASING:
Mil-Spec design with sight marks and M4 threads. CNC-machined 7075-T6 aluminium, hard-anodised to Type III standard.

TRIGGER:
Geissele Automatics Super Dynamic 3-Gun Trigger.

HEADING:
Chrome-molybdenum-vanadium steel, cold-forged, 1:7 twist, 18" length, S2W profile – Daniel Defense’s proprietary reinforced barrel profile. Chrome-plated bore, durable Mil-Spec phosphate finish, tested using HP/MPI methods.

FUEL SYSTEM:
A low-profile gas block made from hardened 4140 steel, CNC-machined, pinned in place and finished with a durable Mil-Spec phosphate coating. Rifle-length gas system with direct impingement.

STORAGE EQUIPMENT:
Daniel Defense Muzzle Climb Mitigator Gen II, made from 17-4 PH stainless steel, with a salt-bath nitrided finish.

BOLT CARRIER ASSEMBLY:
M16 profile, tested to Mil-Spec standards using the MP method, with a chrome-plated internal surface and a correctly secured gas block.

BUFFER:
H Buffer.

SIGHTS:
They are sold separately. They are not included in the pack.

FOREWORD:
Daniel Defense MFR 15.0, CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminium, hard-anodised to Type III standard.

TENSIONING LEVER:
RADIAN RAPTOR - GRIP-N-RIP Charging Handle. The body is CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminium, whilst the operating parts and latch are made from 6061-T6 aluminium. It features durable stainless steel spring pins and Type III hard anodising.

STOCK TUBES:
A six-position Mil-Spec tube made from 7075-T6 aluminium.

STOCK:
Daniel Defense Buttstock, glass-fibre-reinforced polymer with Soft Touch rubberised grips.

PISTOL GRIP:
