The DD magazine can hold 32 rounds of 223 Rem, or 300 Blackout, which puts it in the over-the-limit category, for which you need to apply for an over-the-limit exemption from the police (if you don't already have one). The magazine is made of carbon-reinforced polymer (as is the shock-resistant magazine well) and has a roughened texture in the grip area to help with handling in difficult conditions. The mouth of the magazine is modified for easy loading and reliable feeding of ammunition into the gun. The feeder has an extended design on the underside to prevent it from rolling off the magazine axis.
