The Canik METE SF in black is a compact 9×19 mm self-loading pistol, designed for high durability, comfort and modularity. The pistol is based on the tried-and-tested TP9 platform, but has been modified to meet the METE series standard, which features a more robust slide, a deeper recess for mounting optics, an improved disassembly system, an integrated magazine well and ambidextrous controls.

The METE SF BLACK model comes with two magazines (both with a capacity of 15 rounds), a Canik punch disassembly tool, a replaceable grip backplate, two mounting plates for micro-sights (compatible with Trijicon RMRcc, Shield RMSc and other standards), an inner/outer holster (IWB/OWB), a cleaning kit and a carrying case.

The firearm is fitted with an ambidextrous slide stop, ambidextrous magazine release, and front and rear knurling for secure slide operation. The trigger has a short reset and a trigger action suitable for dynamic shooting. The sights are low-profile, 3-dot type, with the option of fitting a red dot sight thanks to the ‘optic-ready’ design of the slide.

The breech is finished with a Cerakote coating, combined with a nitrided barrel and stainless steel internal components to ensure a long service life and resistance to wear.

The firearm falls within category R3 under Act No. 90/2024 – a firearms licence (ZO) and an R3 permit (NP R3) are required to possess it.
