The GX-E-CS3 compressor has an auto-stop value setting and a built-in air filter. Filling the rifle or pressure vessel is safe and hassle-free thanks to the automatic shut-off that the user sets to the desired pressure. Once the compressor reaches the set filling pressure, it automatically shuts off. Cooling fans remain running to keep the compressor cool.

This small portable compressor can fill a PCP air rifle directly to 4500 psi when needed. The Borner GX-E-CS3 compressor can fill the PCP air rifle using the included transformer or from a 12V DC power source (e.g. a 12V starter battery of a standard vehicle). The filling time of a standard PCP air rifle is 5-12 minutes. However, it should be remembered that this is not a full replacement for large compressors designed for industrial filling of large bottles. This compressor is smaller, slower and is not designed to run continuously for more than 15 minutes, but is nevertheless a good value for money.

The compressor is air cooled and can run for up to 15 minutes, which is more than enough time to fill most PCP air bottles. After this time, the compressor should be stopped and the internal fan cooling should be allowed to continue running to cool the unit. After 15 minutes of cooling, filling can be resumed.
