Rifle barrels - top quality and precision for a perfect shot

Over the last 15 years, cut barrels have almost exclusively replaced drawn barrels in the field of precision sport shooting. This trend has led to long lead times for quality barrel manufacturers. This is why we decided in 2008 to produce barrels in small series using theSingle Cut Riflinginspired by renowned American bench-rest main manufacturers.

The material used is bar steelUS 416R Stainlesswhich is first cut to length and annealed to remove internal stresses. The blanks are then drilled with deep-drilling machines directly at our company. After coiling to the desired outer profile, further annealing takes place to minimise residual stresses and ensure maximum accuracy and durability - ideal especially for hunting weapons.

The barrel is then reamed to the bore diameter using a CNC reamer and then drawn on our own CNC drawing bench. The bore grooves are cut individually with a chip thickness of only0.002 mm, they are then manually trapped and checked with an endoscope.

We perform barrel replacements in-house for almost all repeating rifles and calibers. To give you a better idea: we also produce replacement barrels forBlaser R93 and R8where we use a locking sleeve made of original Blaser barrel steel into which the new barrel is screwed.

We also offercarbon-wound barrelswhere a thin steel core is wrapped with carbon fibre in various diameters and weights directly onto the steel barrel. The result is a barrel with the weight of a thin barrel, the shooting characteristics of a medium barrel and the external dimensions of a heavy barrel.
