The Alpina Hunter Heat is a rugged leather boot with an innovative InTemp heating system located in the upper above the instep and toes. This prevents the heating fibres from being gradually trampled out, as is the case with conventional heating liners. The battery is then cleverly hidden on the top of the shoe under a Velcro protective cover and powers the aforementioned heating lamella in the front of the shoe. From there, the heat then radiates throughout the shoe. No protruding cables, no batteries that the wearer can lose or damage while walking in difficult terrain. With the push of a button, your shoes are comfortably warm in no time.

The rear power connector is used to charge the battery, and charging can be done without removing the battery from the protective case. All quickly, easily and conveniently. The heating system, when switched on, first heats the slat, and within moments it automatically adjusts to an operating temperature that can continuously heat the shoe. The batteries that come free with the boots can handle up to 1000 charge cycles. The shoe offers a total of 2 heating levels:

• High 55°C (red button colour) with a heating time of up to 3.5h
• Medium 45°C (blue button colour) with a heating time of up to 5.5h

The Sympatex waterproof membrane ensures good air permeability and maximum dry foot comfort. Of course, this shoe also features a strong Vibram sole, which guarantees a stable and safe walk. The insulating and protective element is provided by a rubber hem that wraps around the entire bottom of the shoe.

The size of the shoe is best derived from the so-called Mondo point (MP), which indicates exactly how many millimetres long the insole is. So just measure the length of the foot from the tip of the big toe to the heel. The size obtained then corresponds to the size of the shoe's insole.
