Although the 6.5 Creedmoor was originally designed for long-range shooting, it has already gained a reputation as a suitable hunting calibre during its short life.
The Lapua 6.5 Creedmoor range of factory loaded cartridges is now complemented by the 6.5 mm 10.1 g / 155 gr Soft Point MEGA (4PL 6010).
This hunting shot is known for its amazing accuracy, which is almost equal to table shots, and has built a reputation in the Nordic countries for decades as an excellent shot for elk hunting.
The reliable MEGA lock holds the jacket and core of the bullet firmly together, even when the bone is hit hard.
With the soft recoil and long-range performance of the 6.5 Creedmoor load combined with our premium components, we expect this load to become a favorite of deer, fallow and whitetail hunters.
It has a lead core protected by a copper semi-jacket.
