    The Eley High Velocity Hollow Point (HV HP) is the first black, oxidized .22 LR hollow point cartridge designed for pest and small animal control. With a velocity of up to 1,250 ft/s (381 m/s) and energy of 139-145 ft-lb (19-20 kg-m), it provides excellent stopping power and reliable expansion with its soft, low antimony lead bullet.Black oxidised brass cartridge optimises friction and ensures consistent combustion and feeding - ideal for supersonic speeds .Non-stick paraffin lubricant is weather resistant and reduces deposits in the barrel .This cartridge combines accuracy, expansion and reliability - suitable for hunting rodents, pests and short range target shooting.
